A LITTLE ABOUT LAURIE
As the daughter of a photographer and a seamstress, Laurie grew up in a varied and supportive artistic environment that exposed her to many art and craft forms. While her primary forms of expression are painting and drawing, her other creative pursuits include jewelry creation and design, embroidery, and graphic design. Though Laurie attended university for fine arts painting, she now uses that aesthetic to elevate her career endeavors as an illustrator and comic artist.

Laurie graduated as an Honors College student at Western Kentucky University, receiving a B.F.A. in painting and a B.A. in graphic design. She continues her education through online workshops and intense personal studies.
